We have never met musicians more generous with their time and talents than FS&F.
Friends of Brattonsville, SC

Fabulous Celtic Group that encompasses the total entertainment package! I'm trying to think of an excuse for a party to book them again!
Kathy Murphy Willis- President of Downtown Eaton, Inc.

This group is so talented. The historic Celtic songs all tell a story and you wish you had a song book to join along!
Mark Willis- Eaton, Ohio

We met you all a couple years ago at Fort Meigs and have been big fans ever since. Cora (our daughter) loves to dance to the music at events as well as at home. Thanks for the music and can't wait to see you all again this year.

Picked up the new CD. It is amazing. The quality of the sound is perfect. In fact you have a new recruit to your music. My 85 year old mother whom I look after and my brother and his wife who live in Atlanta.

Father, Son and Friends Overwhelm Newberry, South Carolina; Hardly a Soul Left Sitting Down! An enthusiastic audience, welcomed Father, Son and Friends to the stage of Newberry College’s Chapel Theatre on March 23 as part of the school’s 2003 Fine Arts & Lectures series. Those who had previously enjoyed FS&F in performance at historical reenactments around the country expected a high energy show and the boys delivered. From the first song to the last, Joey, Shawn, Scott, and Randy had the audience singing, clapping, and stomping along. The band was in excellent voice, the beat was propulsive, and the sound of bagpipes in the theatre was exhilarating! Many students said that the Father, Son and Friends show was the best Fine Arts & Lectures concert they had ever attended. At the end of the college show, the band invited everyone in the theatre to follow them down the street to Jeze-Belle’s, Newberry’s coffeehouse owned by folksinger/recording artist, Tammy Crane. As chance would have it, the cast (and much of the audience) from HMS Pinafore, which was in performance at the Newberry Opera House, were also heading for Jeze’s! As a result, Father, Son and Friends and the cast of Pinafore (and more than a few reenactors and local pickers) joined voices and instruments in a spontaneous celebration of Celtic music which kept a packed house enthralled until the wee hours. The Belles of Jeze’s are still grinning ear-to-ear, and the good residents of Newberry, SC keep asking when the boys will be back in town.

I just wanted to thank you for attending the Lor of the Laughery. There I purchased your latest cd from the vault. It is a fantastic selection of songs I love to listen to again and again. I have several of your cd's in my collection and really enjoy your music and style of performing.

Father, Son & Friends are incredibly talented, gifted musicians! There lively renditions of Celtic music keep our festival visitors entertained and begging for more, with standing ovations at the conclusion of almost every set. We love 'em!
Michelle Finch - Beavers Bend Folk Festival

From the moment we booked them, I knew it would be fun. Their music kept the audience clapping and smiling all night. Everyone had a great time.

Wow, how can I say it? I saw you guys perform at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. I've taken your CD (Adrift On The Tide) with me on two deployments to Iraq. I'm a Marine with MP company A. We're a reserve unit, but that hasn't stopped me from spending most of the past three years in Iraq. I sing "Old Maui" whenever I've had a bit too much rum. In fact, among my friends, I'm known for it. Forgive me,but I felt compelled to finally tell you guys how much I have appreciated your music.

Father, Son and Friends has been a cornerstone of the Dayton Celtic Festival since the festival began in 2001. Their energetic and heart-felt approach to presenting traditional Celtic music to our audiences has been welcomed by the crowds filling their tent at each and every performance. They are also one of the most requested artists for return appearances as determined by responses to our festival survey questionnaires completed by attendees each year. Father, Son and Friends has been a part of our growing event for five years and we hope for many more years to come.
William E. Russell, Jr.-Entertainment Director, Dayton Celtic Festival

We take great pride in our entertainments selection each year and every year that selection has included Father, Son and Friends. They take folk tradition and blend in a dab of humor with a hint of rock and the result is pure enjoyment. If you close your eyes you can feel the history come alive in their music. You are whisked back to the time when music played a vital part of our ancestors every day life. Through the music of Father, Son and Friends, you experience the good and the bad times of our ancestors. It’s like sitting in on a very interesting history class with fascinating, talented teachers who truly love what the do.
